The ensemble, both in players and technicians, remains the most integral part of the All Access program philosophy.
The ensemble reflects the beliefs of a gathering of similarly minded individuals, in pursuit of common ideas.
The best example of an ensemble, The Group Theatre, is the foundation of what we hope to successfully emulate. The Group Theatre brought genius in the guise of; Harold Clurman, Franchot Tonne, Elia Kazan, Lee Strasberg, Lee J. Cobb, Stella Adler, Lou Adler, Clifford Odets, just to name a few.
These were people inherent with the desire to forge ahead and create a theatre that spoke to the times in which they lived.
Awake and Sing... Waiting for Lefty... The Golden Boy...
These were people of passion, originally a group of disenfranchised, who banded together to seek inspiration from their spiritual leader, Harold Clurman. Mr Clurman's idea of The Group was an idea that became reality.
They believed in his vision, and they created their ensemble in order to achieve it, not only for Harold, but for individuals with a common sense of purpose.
